ACRADIA, Calif.—A double carryover of $153,104.78 in the $2 Pick Six will be up for grabs on a nine-race card Friday at Santa Anita. First post is 1 p.m. PT with the Pick Six set to begin with the fourth race at approximately 2:30 p.m.

Prior to scratches, Friday’s Pick Six sequence averages 8.3 starters per race. Track officials project the entire Pick Six pool will exceed $750,000. Additionally on Friday, there is a carryover of $27,023 in the Super High 5, which will be offered on the ninth race at approximately 5 p.m.

Friday’s Pick Six carryover comes after no one successfully had all six winners in Sunday’s Pick Six. The consolation payout for tickets with 5-of-6 correct selections was $2,771.80.

Sunday’s Pick Six, which started with $36,681.65 in carryover money, had two winning favorites and three winners paying over $20. Helping to spur the carryover into Friday was Red On Sunday, trained by Peter Miller, who won the opening leg under apprentice Serafin Carmona and paid $24; Tecumseh Caroline, who won the seventh race under Antonio Fresu for trainer Phil D’Amato and paid $21.40; and Schilflied, trained by Patrick Gallagher, who scored in the nightcap with Juan Hernandez up and paid $24.60.

The winning horses in Sunday’s Pick Six beginning with the third race were #7 Red On Sunday ($24), #8 Uncle John ($5.60), #4 Maximus ($9.20), #4 Lil Richards Bello ($6), #2 Tecumseh Caroline ($21.40) and #11 Schilflied ($24.60).
