Recapping the week of SEC football and around the country
Finally a nice week to get a little breathing room in the record department. As we are getting more into the thick of the SEC Schedule the right sides and the right totals are jumping off the page when going over the card. Let’s keep it going!
Weekend Recap
Auburn/Tenn Under – easy winner, these teams offenses both stink out loud and they both had solid defenses. Went as expected.
South Carolina -3 – looked like an easy winner for about 90% of the game and then it all fell apart.
Texas A&M – a boat race from the get go and an absolute no doubter
Ohio State -14 – easy winner, this Iowa team was living off of a miracle win against a bad Michigan team.
Week 6 Card
Oklahoma +8.5 – I think OU has the defense to keep this close and hopefully we can avoid the inevitable John Mateer catastrophic turnover. Plus Red River always gets a little nutty.
Georgia +1.5 – I need Bama to prove it to me that they can beat a good team. Georgia has looked a cut above the rest so far this year.
Ole Miss -9.5 – This line might actually close lower but we’ll go with the 9.5 now. This feels like a get right spot for the Ole Miss offense, even on the road.
Tennessee -13.5 – Back to the well here fading Arkansas. Tenn will be going with a new QB and I imagine they’re going to give him as much run as they can. Tenn Defense is pretty stout and should hold Arkansas down. 35-14 gets it done.
Non-Sec Lagniappe
Purdue +3 – spot play here against a Minnesota team coming off back to back gutsy wins.
WVU +3 – Arizona travels to Morgantown after a laugher win at home vs. Cincy. WVU in a gotta have it spot coming off back to back losses.
Penn State ML – USC travels to Penn State, Penn state off of an embarrassing loss to Northwestern. USC just doesn’t travel well and it’s white out for Penn State.
Iowa State +10.5 – BYU in a look ahead spot here with ND on deck, offense struggled last week against a bad TCU team.
Season Record: 14-12-1, +0.8u
No look ahead horses this week, good luck if you’re tailing! As always Geaux Tigers!
