OZONE PARK, N.Y.— Friday’s card at Aqueduct Racetrack will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $23,061 after the multi-race wager went unsolved during Thursday’s eight-race program.
The $1 Pick 6 returned $216.75 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.
The sequence began in Race 3 with Good Reunion [No. 2, $19.20] taking a 6 1/2-furlong claiming tilt for 3-year-olds and up with Kendrick Carmouche aboard for trainer Michelle Nevin. Race 4 saw Capone [No. 6, $4.60*] capture a six-furlong claimer for older horses with Jose Gomez in the irons for conditioner Rick Dutrow, Jr.
The Charlton Baker-trained Bingood to Knowya [No. 8, $17.60] took Race 5, a seven-furlong maiden claimer for 3-year-olds and up, with Isaac Castillo aboard. In the following race, Controlled Temper [No. 7 $6.60*] captured a six-furlong starter optional claimer for sophomore fillies with Dylan Davis in the irons for trainer Joe Sharp in Race 6.
Smokin’ Hot Kitty [No. 4, $4.20*] stalked-and-pounced with Carmouche aboard to capture Race 7, a one-mile starter allowance for fillies and mares 3-years-old and up, for trainer Horacio De Paz.
With two horses left uncovered in the final leg [Race 8], the Robert Falcone, Jr.-trained and Manny Franco-piloted Sondsliksomdiniddo [No. 4, $15] triggered the carryover with a victory in a seven-furlong maiden claimer for New York-breds 3-years-old and up.
Friday’s Pick 6 begins in Race 3 at 2:23 p.m. Eastern. First post on the eight-race card is 1:20 p.m.
