Frankie Dettori in the winner’s circle with Lord North, his final Dubai World Cup night winner (Dubai Racing Club)
The Final Flying Dismount on Dubai World Cup Night: WAIT FOR IT!
We are not sure about you, but we at Past The Wire never had a doubt Frankie Dettori would come through with a win on his final Dubai World Cup night in the saddle. It was only a matter of which race or races he’d win, as throughout his career he has always rose to the occasion. This year, his final year riding, Frankie’s Fanfare as we call it at Past The Wire would be no different.
We will bring you into the winners’s circle for this historic event with Frankie, after his beautiful ride on Lord North for none other than his long time friend and supporter John Gosden and his son Thady. A special night in a marvelous career, occurring at Dubai, where Frankie has done so much and a place quite meaningful to all Dettori had accomplished.
Hear Frankie describe this significant and meaningful win in the Group 1 Dubai Turf aboard Lord North. Frankie had so much horse he threw the whip away, or did he? You’ll find out and of course WAIT FOR IT, the last flying dismount on Dubai World Cup night! It’s history!
