As we start looking forward towards the first Saturday in May, we’d be remiss if we didn’t check in on Bob Baffert’s powerhouse string of two year olds who are turning three in a couple of days.
As usual Bob Baffert is loaded, and contrary to most opinions, I don’t think McKinzie is the leader in the Kentucky Derby parade. I think Solomini is as talented as anything in the barn, and has just as much room to develop. He also has a good bottom to him and that will help come the run for the roses.
