Recapping the week of SEC football and around the country
Another great weekend of college football in the books, good on our wallets and just some good entertaining ball. LSU came up just short of a come back attempt at Ole Miss, Kamario Taylor is a star, Bama sucks, and more.
Weekend Recap
Georgia dominated Arkansas from start to finish, they beat they up so bad that Georgia was running practice and individual drills during TV timeouts. Arkansas has yet to show any semblance of a pulse through 3 games. I may be looking at them again this week.
LSU came up just short of both a win and hitting out TT over. They were inside the 5 yard line late but could not get it done. I was very encouraged of the battle they showed in the second half and I am expecting a major bounce back from them at home against A&M this week.
Miss State and SC went over with ease on the backs of big games from Lanoris Sellers and Kamario Taylor. Kamario Taylor is a star and someone I will be looking to back almost weekly until the market corrects itself.
Florida looked good this weekend taking care of business on the road in a tough environment. I am growing increasingly down on Auburn as they are starting to reveal themselves as more of a G6 team in Auburn uniforms.
Oregon did exactly what I thought they would which was run it up as much as they can to try to distract themselves from the fact that they might not be that good.
Week 4 Card
LSU/Miss State ML Parlay -110 – I like LSU to bounce back at home here and I like Miss State to continue to play well and get some mild revenge from a mediocre Mizzou team in my opinion.
Miss State/Mizzou o58.5 – These teams can both score and score quickly.
Florida -2.5 – This spot is just an automatic play, Ole Miss coming off a huge win now going to the Swamp in front of a crowd that will be juiced. There is no harder place to play on earth than the Swamp during a day game in September or early October.
Auburn -9 – This is a spot play more so against Vandy than it is on Auburn, Vandy has a miracle win now going on the road with a freshman QB in a gotta have it spot for Auburn.
Tulsa +7 – I need Arkansas to prove it to me that they can cover a TD spread against a team who can play.
Non-SEC Lagniappe
Iowa +5.5 – Michigan does not have the offense in my opinion to cover this number.
Iowa/Michigan u38.5 – Neither team has the offense to get over this total in my opinion.
