LEXINGTON, Ky.—Two-year-old filly Cruz Ramirez, a debut winner at Laurel Park yesterday (December 8), is a late supplement to Fasig-Tipton Digital’s December Digital Sale.
Cruz Ramirez went wire-to-wire in Maiden Special Weight company going six furlongs on dirt to win clear as the odds-on favorite.
Cruz Ramirez is a daughter of champion and leading young sire Good Magic, out of Ragtime Hope, a multiple stakes winner by Dixieland Band. Cruz Ramirez is a half-sister to Secret Circle, winner of the Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1) and Dubai Golden Shaheen (G1) on his way to career earnings of more than $3.6 million.
Cruz Ramirez is catalogued as hip 346 and consigned by Elite, agent. Bidding will close on Cruz Ramirez this Wednesday, December 11.
