LEXINGTON, Ky.— Paradise Farms Corp. and David Staudacher’s What Say Thee pushed past Porquerolles in deep stretch to win Wednesday’s featured $88,454 Wild Aire Purse for 4-year-olds and up by a neck. 

Trained by Mike Maker and ridden by Luis Saez, What Say Thee completed the mile and eighth on a turf course rated as good in 1:50.17. The performance gave Saez his third win on the eight-race card.

What Say Thee is a 6-year-old gelded son of Sea The Stars out of the Tapit mare Noisy Feet. Winning for the second time in his past three starts, What Say Thee improved his record to 16-4-1-1 and increased his earnings to $148,613 with Wednesday’s $42,439 check.

Favored in the field of 11, What Say Thee returned $4.18, $2.84 and $2.34. Porquerolles, ridden by John Velazquez, returned $4.12 and $2.92 with Weyhill Road finishing another 1¾ lengths back in third under Jose Ortiz and paying $2.54 to show.

Ortiz also had three wins on the program.
