We recap the Haskell, the incident, buzzers, and of course opening weeks at Saratoga and Del Mar

July 20, 2021

We take you Past the Wire recapping the opening weeks at Saratoga and Del Mar.

We recap the Haskell an weigh in on the DQ and crop situation. We also examine the recent “buzzer” or “battery” innuendos.

We close looking ahead to the first foal from Lady Eli set to run this week for Aidan O’ Brien and revisit the amazing heart she had and job Chad Brown and his team did with her. Last but not least we look forward to Saturday’s huge race at Ascot, The King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Quipco stakes. This promises to be one for the ages with Love, Mishriff, and Adayar all set to go!

Thank you for tuning in and as always we hope you enjoy the show:

@jonathanstettin  Morning Jonathan, I just read your Piece on its not a Santa Anita thing IT WAS OUTSTANDING. I have been playing horses for 42 yrs since my father 1st brought me to Washington Park. I could not agree with you more. There must be 1 governing board and a commissioner.
