The Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation‘s 4th Annual BBQ at the Barn was one for the ages:
Mother Nature’s best efforts to “rain on our parade” didn’t stand a chance against the hale and hearty enthusiasm for the TRF’s 4th Annual BBQ at the Barn! Despite epic rain, hail, lightening, and even a brief power outage, our amazing guests, volunteers, staff, and friends weathered the great storm of August 23rd and made it a spectacular night to remember.
We are thrilled to announce that this event raised over $50,000 for our beloved herd of retired racehorses. This event sold out for the fourth straight year and we have been overwhelmed by the generosity and support from our community.
The TRF Staff and TRF Board of Directors offer our thanks to all who made this sell-out event such a terrific success. It takes a village to deliver an event like this one. We are grateful to every single individual who participated with us – sponsors, volunteers, and donors to our silent auction and raffle baskets, guests who bid on items, guests who purchased tickets, and VIPs who took the time to join us at the beautiful Saratoga Winery to dance in the rain. We can’t wait to see you next year!
