ELMONT, N.Y. – The New York Race Track Chaplaincy, an organization devoted to serving the community of stable workers and their families who make Thoroughbred racing possible at Belmont Park, Aqueduct Racetrack, and Saratoga Race Course, is looking forward to Wednesday, August 17, 2022 when the organization will once again host its popular fundraising Brunch at Saratoga National Golf Club in Saratoga Springs.

Tickets are on sale now and can be obtained online by visiting www.rtcany.org or by calling 516-216-5196.

“This event brings much enjoyment to the racing community and makes our vitally important programs possible,” said Lead Chaplain and Executive Director Humberto Chavez. “We are thrilled to reinstate the brunch after a two-year hiatus, and we are hoping for and expecting a great turnout.”

Chavez noted that sponsorship opportunities are still available for interested persons, groups or organizations.

The honoree at this year’s brunch will be Andy Serling, the New York Racing Association television analyst and handicapper. Previous honorees for their devotion to the backstretch community include: Anne Campbell, Edgar Prado, Michael Dubb, Fay and David Donk, Marylou Whitney and John Hendrickson, Letty and Kiaran McLaughlin, Lisa and Kenny Troutt, Debbie and Terry Finley, the New York Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association, and Irad Ortiz Jr.
