The Everest, Caulfield Cup, and British Champions Day to be simulcast for betting

The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast a total of eight races for betting from Australia and United Kingdom on Saturday, 16 October.

The Everest (1:15pm)

The Everest (1200m 3yo+) has become a worldwide showcase racing event ever since its inception 2017. Although the race does not carry any Group status, it is the richest turf race in the world with a mammoth A$15 million of prizemoney on offer.

Final declarations with barrier draws for the Everest will be available on Friday, 15 October.

Caulfield Cup (2:15pm)

Caulfield Cup (G1 2400m  handicap for 3yo+) is the climax of Caulfield’s slice of the Spring Racing Carnival. It is not only the world’s richest 2400m handicap, but also an important lead-up race to the prestigious G1 Melbourne Cup held in November.

Final declarations with barrier draws for Caulfield Cup will be available on Friday, 15 October.

British Champions Day (6 races – 1st race starts 8:25pm)

The eyes of the racing world will turn to Ascot on Saturday evening as some of Europe’s best horses and jockeys gather for the richest meeting on English soil – British Champions Day. The simulcast features five end-of-season championship races for horses of different categories and Europe’s richest handicap over a mile.
