Courtney Snow is a freelance photographer based in Lexington, Kentucky, where two lifelong passions—horses and photography—come together. She began photographing horse shows and racetracks while living in Southern California in 2017 and has continued that work since returning to the heart of Kentucky horse country.
Courtney regularly photographs racing at Keeneland, Churchill Downs and Kentucky Downs, along with Kentucky’s stud farms, horse sales and local horse shows. Her background extends beyond the camera: she earned a degree in Equine Health & Complementary Therapies from Hocking College and works within the Central Kentucky equine industry.
