Announcement To Be Televised Live On TVG And Streamed On Breeders’ Cup Digital Channels On Monday, October 28

ARCADIA, Calif. (October 27, 2019) – The Rood & Riddle Breeders’ Cup Post-Position Draw for the 2019 Breeders’ Cup World Championships will be shown live tomorrow, Monday, October 28 from the Trackside Breakfast Marquee at Santa Anita Park starting at 3:30 p.m. PT with the first race drawn at 4:00 p.m. PT.

All 14 races will be drawn and announced on TVG, along with the Breeders’ Cup website, Official Mobile App and YouTube, Twitter and Facebook pages.

The Rood & Riddle Breeders’ Cup Post-Position Draw will be hosted by Laffit Pincay III, Nick Luck and Britney Eurton of NBC Sports.

The 36th Breeders’ Cup World Championships, consisting of 14 races with purses and awards totaling more than $30 million, will be held at Santa Anita Park on Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2. The Breeders’ Cup World Championships races will be drawn in the following order:

Friday, Nov. 1 – “Future Stars Friday”

  1. $1 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint
  2. $1 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf – Presented by Coolmore America
  3. $2 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies
  4. $1 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf
  5. $2 million TVG Breeders’ Cup Juvenile

Saturday, Nov. 2

  1. $1 million Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint
  2. $1 million Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint
  3. $1 million Big Ass Fans Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile
  4. $2 million Maker’s Mark Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf
  5. $2 million Breeders’ Cup Sprint
  6. $2 million TVG Breeders’ Cup Mile
  7. $2 million Longines Breeders’ Cup Distaff
