Preakness 145 Tickets On Sale

The Preakness Stakes (G1), the Middle Jewel of the Triple Crown, will be held on Saturday, May 16th and the 96th Black-Eyed Susan (G2) will take place on Friday, May 15th, both at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore.

The Stronach Group and the Maryland Jockey Club, owners of the legendary Pimlico Race Course, announced today that facility and Preakness Village tickets to Preakness 145 are on sale. Renewal seats currently, reserved seats are available on a waitlist.

Tickets range from $40 to $750 per person* offering unique, curated experiences for every guest, including multi-day tickets, exciting trackside views and elevated race-day luxury options in the Preakness Village.

Returning Preakness patrons who wish to RENEW their same seats may do so until January 31, 2020. They may also request seating upgrades. Renew per instructions in the email you received or contact the ticket office at 877-206-8042 or email Payment must be made at time of renewal. 

145 Preakness tickets may be purchased on a WAITLIST until January 31, 2020. Payment must be made at time of purchase. Purchasing tickets on the waitlist guarantees your spot at Preakness, however, seats will not be assigned until after the renewal period (early February 2020). Seating assignments will be allocated by date of purchase, to ensure the best possible seat, it is best to purchase early.

After renewal and waitlist seats/tickets are assigned in February 2020 the remaining tickets will be available to the GENERAL PUBLIC. PARKING for Black-Eyed Susan Day and Preakness Day is now on sale.

The fan favorite INFIELDFEST will return for the 12th year featuring top tier performers, a variety of food and beverage options and a host of wagering opportunities aimed at engaging the next generation of fans. The Stronach Group will announce the InfieldFest artist line-up and tickets in the coming weeks.

In 2019, Diplo made history by parachuting onto the racetrack and running in his jumpsuit to the stage for a stellar set that capped off an incredible day of performances featuring Kygo, Logic, Juice WRLD, Frank Walker and Fisher. Over the past decade InfieldFest has showcased some of music’s biggest stars, including Post Malone, 21 Savage, ODESZA and Frank Walker (2018), Sam Hunt and Zedd (2017), The Chainsmokers and Fetty Wap (2016), Armin van Buuren and Childish Gambino (2015), Lorde and NAS (2014), Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Pitbull and Florida Georgia Line (2013), Maroon 5 and Wiz Khalifa (2012), Bruno Mars (2011), Zac Brown, O.A.R. and Train (2010), and Buckcherry and ZZ Top (2009).  

Preakness 145 will feature something for everyone including the popular Sunrise Tours that run from Tuesday through Friday during Preakness week; the Alibi Breakfast, an annual tradition that brings together fans and horsemen; and Rosé on the Rail, a trackside garden party focused on fashion and fun on Black Eyed Susan Day. 

First contested in 1873, the Preakness is one of Thoroughbred racing’s most valued Grade 1 stakes races. In 2019, a crowd of 131,256 witnessed War of Will and jockey Tyler Gaffalione win Preakness 144. The total handle on Preakness day was a record-breaking $99.8 million, surpassing the $93.6 million wagered in 2018. 

Celebrity fans in attendance in 2019 included Grammy nominated recording artist Robin Thicke, actress and recording artist Victoria Justice, MLB Hall of Famer Cal Ripken, New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, TV personality Carson Kressley, celebrity chef Bobby Flay, players from the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens and the Washington Redskins, and legendary performer Vanessa Williams, who sang the national anthem, to name just a few.

*The renewal period for Preakness 145 will extend thru January 31st, 2020 at 5 pm EST.  During the renewal period, all prices, including the Waitlist, will be fixed in each seating section.  After the renewal period is complete, any unpaid tickets on your account will be released and open for purchase by the general public. We will be introducing a new tiered pricing structure in 2020 after the renewal period is complete. This new price structure ensures our loyal patrons get the best value for their 2020 Preakness tickets during the renewal period.
