Welcome to another episode of @Past The Wire TV home of some of the best Horse Racing interviews and shows out there.
On this show with have up and coming trainer Jose D’Angelo. Maybe we really shouldn’t call Jose up and coming as he already has an impressive resume.
It started in Venezuela where Jose is from. He was the youngest trainer to win the Prestigious Classico Simon Bolivar in 2014 with Dreaming of Gold. Back then Jose was not only Dreaming of Gold he was dreaming of Roses, Classics, Breeders’ Cups and more in the US. Hear how Jose got the opportunity to train Jesus’ Team to finish 3rd in the Jim Dandy at Saratoga, 3rd in the Preakness, second in the Breeders’ Cup Mile and so much more after this horse was running in claiming races earlier in his career.
Learn why Jose put the horse first and passed the dream of having a horse in the Kentucky Derby, not an easy decision to make. See what Jose has his sights on in the future and how he hopes to get there. Thank you for watching another great episode of @Past The Wire TV with a great guest, Jose D’Angelo
