July 28, 2021 – LEXINGTON, KY – New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program will host its 18th Annual All-Thoroughbred Charity Horse Show at Highfields Event Center, in Aikin, SC, Sept. 3-5. Iris Smith Stable, LLC, has signed on as the title sponsor of this year’s event.
“We’re thrilled and honored to introduce Iris Smith Stable as our first title sponsor,” said New Vocations Thoroughbred Program Director Anna Ford. “Iris Smith is a long-time supporter of New Vocations, our show and Thoroughbred aftercare in general, and we couldn’t be happier for her to participate in this new capacity.”
The annual show serves as one of New Vocations’ largest fundraisers as well as a key way for the nonprofit organization to spread awareness about the Thoroughbred’s versatility in post-track life.
After shifting last year’s competition to a virtual event due to COVID-19, New Vocations worked diligently to find a way to offer the in-person show in 2021. The event will offer a variety of classes for Thoroughbreds, including hunter, jumper, combined test, pleasure, in-hand, dressage and western. New for this year, the show will also feature an exhibitor’s party on Friday and a live concert on Saturday, allowing ample time for Thoroughbred lovers to network and have some fun after a day of competition.
“We are excited to welcome Thoroughbreds and their exhibitors back to compete and connect with others who share the same love and passion for the breed,” Ford said. “The support we have received for this year’s show has been simply amazing. So many Thoroughbred owners, breeders, trainers, industry partners and fans have become sponsors of the event.”
Entries are currently open to any Thoroughbred registered with The Jockey Club’s Thoroughbred Incentive Program (TIP) and will close on Aug. 27. The show is the last opportunity to qualify for this year’s TIP Championships, taking place Oct. 8-10 at Stable View, in Aiken.
Show sponsorship opportunities are still available at levels ranging from $100-$10,000.
