Hip No. 262, Saint George, a son of St Patrick’s Day consigned by Journeyman Bloodstock Services, Inc. (Brent & Crystal Fernung, Agent), sped three eighths in :32 1/5 to post the fastest work at the distance at the Under Tack Show for the Horses of Racing Age section of the Ocala Breeders’ Sales’ Company’s 2024 Winter Mixed Sale. The 3-year-old chestnut colt is out of Crowninshield, by Aldebaran, a half-sister to graded stakes placed stakes winner Quiet Cash.

The workouts were recorded and can be viewed on the website, in their entirety or by individual hip number. They are also available in the Video Room as well as several kiosks in the breezeway and covered walking ring. Visitors to Ocala will find the videos available for in-room viewing at The Courtyard by Marriott, Holiday Inn & Suites, Homewood Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, Residence Inn and the Ocala Hilton, plus lounge viewing is available at the Hilton. The sale begins on Tuesday, January 23rd at 12 noon with Hip No.’s 1 – 122 plus supplements 123-137 cataloged in the Consignor Preferred Session. The Horses of Racing Session, cataloged as Hip No.’s 201-265 plus supplements 266-276, begins immediately following the conclusion of the Preferred Session. The Open Session, with Hip No.’s 401 – 643 plus supplements 644-663 cataloged, is set for Wednesday, January 24thand also starts at 12 noon.
The Sale will be streamed live via the OBS website as well as the DRF, TDN, BloodHorse and Past The Wire websites.
OBS will again offer Online Bidding during the Winter Mixed Sale. Buyers will be able to go to the OBS website and register to gain bidding approval, then access the OBS Bidding Screen with their credentials.
