I have no doubt Chad Brown will have Lady Eli right as dodgers for the filly and mare Breeders’ Cup Turf, and also that he and all her connections would love to see her top out a winner.
There is little doubt she has a big heart and will be digging in when the real running starts, but this race will be tough and she will need one of her best efforts ever to take it.
It would cap off a phenomenal story and job by Chad Brown and his team bringing this special racehorse back from double laminitis to compete at this level.
