Keeneland sales graduates figure prominently in the four graded stakes for 2-year-olds on Saturday at Los Alamitos and Aqueduct.
Sales graduates comprise the entire field for the Starlet (G1) and Los Alamitos Futurity (G2). Morning-line favorite Donna Veloce and Grade 1 winner Bast, second and third, respectively, in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1), top the field for the Starlet. Anneau d’Or and Wrecking Crew, second and third, respectively, in the TVG Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1), highlight the Los Alamitos Futurity, where they will meet Bob Hope (G3) winner High Velocity and talented maiden winner Thousand Words.
At Aqueduct, trainer Todd Pletcher’s duo of Alpha Sixty Six and graded stakes-placed Chase Tracker is featured in the Remsen (G2). Maedean, recent winner of the Tempted Stakes, stands out in the Demoiselle (G2).
