Past the Wire TV’s Jeff Metz caught up with the connections of Kentucky Derby contender Hot Rod Charlie who is being put through his final preparations at Santa Anita before heading to Louisville and Churchill Downs for the run for the roses.
Jeff spoke to jockey Flavien Prat and two time Kentucky Derby winning trainer Doug O’Neill about how Hot Rod Charlie is heading into the race on the first Saturday in May.
