Jockey Irad Ortiz Jr., and Trainer Steve Asmussen Top Leading Earners through the Third Quarter of 2024

Godolphin LLC, which has been the leading owner in North America for the past three years, is well on its way to a fourth consecutive year, leading all owners in earnings through the first three quarters of 2024 by a wide margin. Perennial leading jockey Irad Ortiz, Jr., has been in a tight race with Flavien Prat, but currently leads all riders by earnings during the first nine months of the year, and trainer Steve Asmussen leads all trainers according to final statistics released today by Equibase Company LLC, the Thoroughbred industry’s official database for racing information.
Kentucky Derby winner and Preakness Stakes runner-up Mystik Dan sits atop all Thoroughbreds in North American earnings through September 30. Thorpedo Anna, who has won five graded stakes this year, is the top ranked filly and second overall in earnings at this point of the year.
