HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – Gulfstream Park announced today that Fasig-Tipton will be the title sponsor of the $400,000 Fountain of Youth (G2).
The Fasig-Tipton Fountain of Youth, to be contested at 1 1 /16 miles Saturday, Feb. 29, has been a key prep race for the $1 million Florida Derby (G1) and Triple Crown races. Recent winners have included Code of Honor, Orb, Gunnevera, Scat Daddy and Quality Road.
“The Fountain of Youth always showcases many of the top Derby contenders and we are pleased to sponsor one of the leading races at Gulfstream Park,” said Boyd Browning, President and Chief Executive Officer of Fasig-Tipton. “It will be a great kick-off leading up to our 2-year-old in training sale on April 1 at Gulfstream Park.”
The Gulfstream Sale of Selected 2-Year-Olds in Training takes place Wednesday, April 1 at Gulfstream with the Under Tack Show Monday, March 30.
