In what can’t really be considered a surprise the Dubai Media Office released the following statement:

“To safeguard the health of all participants, the higher organising committee of the Dubai World Cup 2020 has decided to postpone the 25th edition of the global tournament to next year.”

The Dubai World Cup becomes the latest corona virus cancellation in Horse Racing. The Florida Derby is scheduled for next Saturday at Gulfstream Park. It remains to be seen if they will be able to run.
