Fasig-Tipton Release
LEXINGTON, Ky.—Fasig-Tipton has catalogued 670 entries for its December Digital Sale, which may be viewed at digital.fasigtipton.com. Bidding is now open and will close on the following schedule:
- Tuesday, December 10, beginning at 12 PM ET: Hips 1-305, offering horses of racing age, racing/broodmare prospects, broodmare prospects, weanlings, and yearlings
- Wednesday, December 11, beginning at 12 PM ET: Hips 306-end, offering broodmares
“This is the largest digital catalogue ever compiled worldwide,” said Leif Aaron, Fasig-Tipton Director of Digital Sales. “There is quality at all levels that will suit a variety of national and regional breeding and racing programs. December Digital has become an important sale on the Thoroughbred auction calendar, and every serious player in our game needs to focus on this catalogue.”
The catalogue includes more than 400 broodmares and broodmare prospects, 120 horses of racing age, 70 weanlings, and 50 yearlings. One-hundred-twenty (120) covering sires are represented, including American Pharoah, Cody’s Wish, Complexity, Constitution, Elite Power, Maclean’s Music, Mage, McKinzie, Nyquist, Omaha Beach, Practical Joke, Tapit, Tiz the Law, Vekoma, and Yaupon.
Offerings are located in Arkansas, California, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Ontario (Canada), Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
