It didn’t take long for returning Corey Nakatani to hit the winner’s circle.
Corey won the second race Saturday at Santa Anita on 8-1 first time starter Gogoula. Corey came right back in the fourth race, The 100k Robert J. Frankel Stakes aboard Goodyearforroses.
It looks like Corey Nakatani and his new agent, his son Matt, have returned in form and Corey has that spark again. A new agent following a layoff can do that, especially if the agent is your son. Nothing like a family business.
