LEXINGTON, Ky. – Juddmonte’s Eclipse Award-winning Idiomatic will attempt to become the fifth horse to successfully defend her title when she faces five rivals Sunday in the 69th running of the $600,000 Juddmonte Spinster (G1).
In addition to Idiomatic, the Juddmonte Spinster also attracted Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners’ Candied, winner of last fall’s Darley Alcibiades (G1) here.
Two other stakes are on Sunday’s 10-race program: the 34th running of the $350,000 Castle & Key Bourbon (G2) – which drew a field of 12 and three also-eligibles and is headlined by Siesta Key – and the seventh running of the $250,000 Indian Summer (L) Presented by Keeneland Select, which drew a field of 12 and one also-eligible and features a quartet of stakes winners in Chasing Liberty, Out On Bail, Governor Sam and Dreamaway.
