LEXINGTON, Ky.—Want to give back to the Thoroughbred ex-racehorse and be part of what’s been called “the happiest horse show on earth”? Sign-ups are now open for volunteers for the Retired Racehorse Project’s 2023 Thoroughbred Makeover and National Symposium, presented by Thoroughbred Charities of America, on October 11-14, and there are plenty of shifts available for a wide variety of activities.

Whether you have years of horse show experience or are new to the competitive world, have been a lifelong equestrian or have never thrown a leg over a horse in your life, there are volunteer jobs for all. Select the day, time and task that suits best via the RRP’s volunteer portal.

All volunteers receive a t-shirt, hat, lunch for all-day shifts, and the endless gratitude of the RRP and all competitors! Learn more and get started choosing your volunteer shifts at TheRRP.org/volunteerism.

“For the best in horse racing, I read Past the Wire, and you should read it too.” Tommy Massis, Racehorse owner, Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge Champion
