Unified upset the heavily favored Mind Your Biscuits to wire The Grade 3 Gulfstream Park Sprint Championship.
The horse took the lead almost immediately after the break from the wood under Jose Ortiz and just held on to hold off a surging Mind Your Biscuits.
Both horses really ran huge races. I always thought Unified was a sprinter and discussed as much on both my radio spots this week, It’s Post Time with JJ Graci and Racetrackers with Bill Gottimer.
Mind Your Biscuits is pointing to the big sprint on The Dubai World Cup undercard. No plans yet for Unified, but I hope they keep him sprinting. The Met Mile now on The Belmont undercard has to be on the radar screen.
