Traynor wins $80K+ in Pacific Classic Betting Challenge

DEL MAR, Calif.—Bob Traynor, from Oceanside, CA, finished in first with a final bankroll of $15,800, enough to claim victory over 150 total entries. His prizes include $45,500 and a $10,000 Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge (BCBC) entry. 

Evan Trommer of Lakewood Ranch, FL and Chuck Grubbs from Georgetown, KY completed the top three finishers.

Bob Traynor also finished in ninth good for a National Horseplayers Championship (NHC) spot. All in all, he netted over $60,000 in cash and prizes plus his final bankrolls, a combined $23,800.

Participants started with a $2,000 bankroll in the one-day Challenge played either on-track at Del Mar or online on TVG.com. The top five finishers receive $10,000 BCBC entries.
