Past The Wire is honored at the opportunity to share the good things about the industry and the impact and inspiration the jockeys and the horses have on people.

Today Keeneland hosted the 12th Make-A-Wish Day along with other organizations and local thoroughbred farms. They brought local wish kids out for a day at the races. Keeneland rolled out the red carpet for the wish kids and their families with the VIP experience. They had a unique and up close experience to present the trophy to the winning jockey after each race.

There were smiles all around at Keeneland by everyone involved. Thank you to Keeneland, the jockeys, equine athletes and everyone for pulling off another successful Make-A-Wish Day. If you would like to help out or get involved in the Make-A-Wish Foundation visit them here. Below is a short video of the fun had by all!
