When Spendthrift Farm suspended their spring tours for the safety of staff and guests due to the Coronavirus, their very inspired team came up with an alternative.
Filmed by Brian Starr Cinematography, Spendthrift will offer virtual tour videos* of their Paris, Kentucky, farm to bring the experience to the patrons of their annual Kentucky Horse Country tours. Friday, March 27, Spendthrift will be releasing the “Future Stars of Tomorrow” and March 30, look for “The Spendthrift Stallions Tour!”
Spendthrift Farm added champions Mitole, Vino Rosso and Eclipse Horse of the Year, Omaha Beach to their freshman sire roster in 2020 joining the likes of legendary stallions Malibu Moon and Into Mischief.
The latter’s son, Goldencents, one of the most popular stallions in America, is the only back-to-back Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile G1 winner. Just bred to champion mare Beholder who is now in foal, he stands again this year with Bolt d’Oro (Medaglia d’Oro) and Lord Nelson (Pulpit).
2018 Preakness champion, Cloud Computing, is the first classic winner to retire to Spendthrift since Seattle Slew and Affirmed in 1979 and 1980, respectively. Check out the stunning dark bay and more stallions at Spendthrift Farm or go to their Facebook page to catch the first virtual video.
