There may be a hurricane close by but we are here at Past the Wire TV with another episode of Saratoga Today. We always deliver and take you Past the Wire in the Sport of Kings.
On Saratoga Today we take a brief look at the Queens Plate at Woodbine which is the Canadian version of our Kentucky Derby.
We look at the Summer Colony restricted stakes at Saratoga and also at a few maidens.
We would have had our next major wager of the meet in the last race at Saratoga but the race has already been taken off the turf. The horse can win anyway if he stays in, but these off the grass races are not the same as the originally carded turf race.
