Pioneerof the Nile now has two champions under his belt: American Pharaoh, the first Triple Crown winner in 37 years, and Classic Empire. I always thought he’d make a good sire, but I thought the same about his sire Empire Maker.
Empire Maker never seemed to get his chance, and I thought he was given up on way too early. That’s not likely to happen with Pioneerof the Nile, as he’ll be getting some nice mares with two champs under his belt.
