OBS graduates scored a graded stakes doubleheader at Santa Anita on Sunday after a 1-2-3 sweep of the My Dear Girl at Gulfstream on Saturday.

Gary Barber, Tom Kagele and Madaket Stables LLC’s C Z Rocket pressed the pace in the $200,000 Santa Anita Sprint Championship (G2), wore down the leader in the lane and was best by a head. Fellow OBS graduate Collusion Illusion (April ’19) checked in third. At the 2016 June Sale, he turned in an Under Tack eighth in :10 1/5 before he was purchased out of the Stephens Thoroughbred consignment for a then sale record $800,000. watch his under tack video

Big Rings (June ’20) settled for third. It’s the second straight stakes win for the 2-year-old Florida-bred filly by Khozan, consigned by Journeyman Bloodstock Services, Inc. (Brent & Crystal Fernung), Agent, to the 2019 October Selected Yearling Sale and sold to Manuel Pita for $30,000.
