BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Right after the Mint Gaming Hall Bowling Green rings in the New Year, the gaming and entertainment facility will begin a month-long celebration to commemorate its first anniversary.
The Mint Gaming Hall Bowling Green — the first brand property expansion of The Mint Gaming Hall at Kentucky Downs — quickly stamped itself as a major entertainment destination after opening on Dec. 28, 2021, in the Greenwood Mall area on Scottsville Road, just over a mile from Interstate 65. The Mint Gaming Hall Bowling Green features 450 electronic gaming machines, the Winners Circle Bar and the Post Time Race & Sports Lounge, where guests can bet on horse racing and watch sports while enjoying a pub-fare menu.

To commemorate its first year in Warren County, The Mint Gaming Hall Bowling Green is giving away Mint long-sleeved t-shirts on Sunday Jan. 8 from noon-7 p.m. CT while supplies last. To redeem, guests must be members of The Mint Rewards club, which can be joined on site. Players Club members can earn 100 Tier points for a pair of signature Mint sweatpants on Sunday Jan. 22 from noon-7 p.m.
On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in January, Rewards members at Bowling Green earning 30 Tier points can play the Happy Anniversary Kiosk Game with a chance to win up to $1,000 in cash, with all participants getting a prize. The Whirlwind of Cash promotion allows Mint Rewards Members to play and earn entries daily, with drawings on Saturdays for a chance to win up to $2,500 in the Cash Cube.
The Mint Gaming Hall Bowling Green and Kentucky Downs are stocked with promotions at both sites throughout the month, starting with the popular Jan. 1 calendar giveaway commemorating the 2022 racing season. The calendars given away on site each feature coupons for free play for four dates in January, with guests finding a gold sticker in their calendar winning up to $1,000 in cash. Calendars are available, while supplies last, from noon-7 p.m. at Bowling Green and noon-9 p.m. at Kentucky Downs.
Guests at both sites can earn a complete Amy Miller Home bedding collection in the “White Sale’ promotion featuring a comforter, sheets, Sherpa throw and pillow staged on successive Fridays in January at The Mint Gaming Hall Bowling Green and Sundays at Kentucky Downs. Club members can collect each prize for 125 Tier points.
