When McCracken won the Sam F. Davis at Tampa I think I was the only one who was not raving about the race. I was concerned the horse was lugging in, and in my opinion that is never a good sign for a horse on the Derby trail.
Now McCracken is missing the Tampa Bay Derby due to a sore ankle. Minor, sure. Related, who knows but I still don’t like a horse who lugs in at this point.
