McCracken Gets the Job Done at Tampa Bay

February 11, 2017

McCracken got the job done and remained undefeated taking the Sam F. Davis at Tampa Bay Downs in his three-year old debut. In the process he broke the track record going a mile and a sixteenth in 1:42.45.

While it was a nice race coming from off the pace, McCracken was lugging in down the lane which isn’t what you like to see. He gets a slight pass however, as he was running over the Tampa strip for the first time, and coming off a layoff.

I was equally if not more impressed with the performance of Tapwrit. Under Jose Ortiz the Todd Pletcher trained colt did not have the best of trips, and really kicked in late. He looks like one to watch going forward.

Yessir as always appreciate the content the time you take out of your day to do these videos and your knowledge im learning every video you put out always something to learn! I do hope sir you do thorograph for the big summer races going into breeders cup
