LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The official Kentucky Derby 150 Mint Julep Glass was unveiled Wednesday to commemorate the milestone celebration of 150 days until the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby presented by Woodford Reserve on Saturday, May 4.

Also, a #MyDerbyMemory social media contest was launched for fans to win a trip to the landmark anniversary of the Longines Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby. 

The official Kentucky Derby 150 Mint Julep Glass is now available for purchase at www.KentuckyDerbyStore.com and select retailers, including the Kentucky Derby Museum. The official Kentucky Oaks 150 Lily Glass will be available for purchase Jan. 10. 

Since its inception in 1938, the Kentucky Derby Mint Julep Glass has grown in popularity and is viewed by many authorities as the leading Derby collectible.  

This year’s design for the beloved, collectible keepsake is adorned with the classic Kentucky Derby red roses and lists every official Kentucky Derby winner – from Aristides in 1875 to Mage in 2023. 

In addition to the customary Mint Julep Glass, guests attending the 150th Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs will receive an exclusive Mint Julep Glass and Oaks Lily Glass available only on-site. The exclusive glasses will feature a frosted casing with a gold trophy and gold lilies, respectively, which adds a priceless piece of memorabilia to this historic occasion. 

Kentucky Derby fans can win a trip for two to the 150th Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby by participating in a new national #MyDerbyMemory social media contest. Derby enthusiasts are invited to share their cherished memories that capture the essence of the iconic event by using the hashtag #MyDerbyMemory on social media platforms X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram through Jan. 31. In addition to tickets to the Oaks and Derby, the first prize includes a $5,000 travel stipend and hotel accommodations.
