Fasig-Tipton Release
LEXINGTON, Ky.—Fasig-Tipton has catalogued 1,610 entries for its Kentucky October Yearlings sale, to be held on October 21-24, in Lexington, Kentucky. The four continuous sessions, conducted on Monday-Thursday, will begin each day at 10 am.
“We have an outstanding catalogue to offer buyers at this ‘grand finale’ to yearling sales season,” said Fasig-Tipton President Boyd Browning. “Every major sire is represented by multiple offerings, and there are quality yearlings at all levels of the market.”
Leading general sires represented include Constitution (15 yearlings catalogued), Curlin (7), Good Magic (21), Gun Runner (14), Justify (19), Quality Road (12), Into Mischief (14), Munnings (20), Not This Time (21), Nyquist (15), Practical Joke (18), Tapit (12), Twirling Candy (20), and Uncle Mo (11).
Kentucky October graduates are winning the sport’s biggest races, and in high numbers.
“Results for Kentucky October graduates on the track have been off the charts over the past year,” continued Browning. “These include Thorpedo Anna, winner of this year’s Kentucky Oaks (G1) and now a four-time Grade 1 winner; two Breeders’ Cup champions in Nobals and Goodnight Olive, the latter of which won her second consecutive Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (G1) and Eclipse Award; and Nakatomi, winner of the prestigious Vanderbilt H. (G1) at Saratoga.”
“The strength of our sales graduates makes October one of the most important auctions in the nation,” Browning continued. “If you are a major player in our game, you cannot afford to miss it.”
The catalogue may now be viewed online, and will also be available via the equineline sales catalogue app. Print catalogues will be available on-site in Lexington.
Online bidding and phone bidding services will be available.
