Jack Sisterson did a masterful job with True Timber to win the Grade 1 Cigar Mile. Kendrick Carmouche rode a fabulous race. As it turns out Jack penciled the Cigar for True Timber early in the year and pointed the horse to the race all along. The goal was to have him peak in the Cigar Mile and peak he did. If things go right from here the plan is to stretch him out to two turns and a mile and an eighth in the Pegasus. He may even head to the Saudi Cup for Jack and Calumet Farm.

True to who we are, of course we brought up “The Tweet.” You know, the tweet from Chad Brown towards Shug McGaughey. Jack is not one for social media but we did get how he learned of “The Tweet” from him.
