David Mussad Gets First Win

July 29, 2018

We would like to send our congratulations to California apprentice jockey David Mussad on his first victory!

David scored his first win on Daddy Duke in a 5 1/2 furlong claiming race at Sacramento. The pair won with ease in a final time of 1:05.01 for owner Scott Leon and trainer Isidro Tamayo.

David has two mounts today at Sacramento, race 2 aboard Kiss Stealin and race 8 aboard Flir Power.

We wish David Mussad continued success in his career and hope to see him on the big stage soon!

Have been watching your podcasts for about a year now Jon. Your analysis and personal insights with respect to the thorograph numbers, combined with your keen observations regarding a horse's running style are priceless. Thank you. Also kudos to the programming content you have provided, including fantastic guests, and informative conversations with Jim Gazzale. The best on the internet.
