SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Thursday’s card at Saratoga Race Course will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $56,457 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Wednesday’s nine-race card.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $2,352 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.

Wednesday’s sequence kicked off in Race 4 with an upset to open the sequence as Leftembehind [No. 6, $23.20] took a nine-furlong state-bred allowance with Katie Davis up for trainer Barclay Tagg.

Hall of Famer Todd Pletcher sent out the next winner in the Dylan Davis-piloted Slightly Busy [No. 1, $6.60] in Race 5, a one-mile off-the-turf maiden special weight, one race before Mascara [No. 10, $11] launched a mild upset in Race 6, a 5 1/2-furlong off-the-turf maiden tilt, with Junior Alvarado aboard for conditioner Wesley Ward.

In Race 7, Dylan Davis struck again with Prince James [No. 1, $25] outlasting Ram in a stretch duel in a seven-furlong claimer for trainer Ray Handal.

The Hall of Fame jockey-trainer duo of Joel Rosario and Bill Mott captured the Listed $135,000 De La Rose with Poca Mucha [No. 4, $22.60], the longest price on the board winning the one-mile off-the-turf test in Race 8.

Thursday’s Pick 6 begins in Race 5 at approximately 3:27 p.m. Eastern. First post for the 10-race program that features the Grade 2, $250,000 Glens Falls [Race 9] is 1:10 p.m.
