Where Arrogate will race next is anybody’s guess right now, but The Dubai World Cup hasn’t been ruled out as previously thought.
“Right now, I wouldn’t have any objections about running in Dubai,” Bob Baffert told thoroughbredracing.com, “but at the end of the day, Prince Khalid is the boss.”
Juddmonte Racing Manager Garrett O’ Rourke confirmed what we already knew: Arrogate was purchased primarily for U.S. racing, and they had that in mind when they bought him based on his pedigree amongst other things. They are looking for a championship and realize how important the end of the year and Breeders’ Cup is in achieving that goal.
I’d imagine they will ultimately let the horse and Bob dictate the plans, and when it comes to that nobody does it better than Bob.
