PTW SEC Round Up: November

SEC Football is heating up and we’re here to break it all down and look ahead to the coming week

Even week last week going 2-2. When the calendar flips to November is truly when SEC Football comes alive. 3:30pm Eastern games that end with the 2nd half being played at night, big time matchups, massive implications, there is truly nothing better on this green earth. The Big Ten is so bad bad bad it’s crazy. Indiana needs a miracle 60 yard FG to push Minnesota to OT and eventually win. Ohio State is likely without Sayin the rest of the regular season and his backup is in no position to lead them to anything meaningful.

LSU hosts Alabama in their last annual matchup thanks to SEC’s ridiculous scheduling and massive conference in general. I’m rambling here but I need to get some of these thoughts out. College football is ever changing and some aspects are better some are worse but that’s just life I guess. I’m ok with a 24 team playoff, what sucks is losing conference divisions and annual rivalries. Parity is good, losing the character and fun of college football is not.

Weekend Recap

Arkansas got boat raced from start to finish and all of their positive momentum seems to have evaporated. I don’t see myself playing them again the rest of the year.

Indiana is broken offensively, they have now moved off Hoover and gone to the back up. Indiana is no where near good enough to repeat, but I don’t think there’s 2 more losses on their schedule so they may be in the CFP by default.

Georgia/Florida under went as expected, easy winner.

USC was a no sweat winner. OSU is terrible without Sayin and the only place USC shows up is at home.

Week 10 Card

Kentucky/Tennessee Under 50.5 – big game, both of these teams want to slow this game down and turn it into a slog.

LSU/Ohio State ML Parlay +100, I talked all that shit about Ohio State earlier in the article but I think Oregon is even worse. Lane Kiffin gets his first signature win with LSU.

Miss State -135 ML, Vandy is so bad, Miss State may have enough even without Taylor to take this one at home.

Ole Miss +3.5, Give me Trinidad Chambliss at home getting points.

Non-SEC Lagiappe

Notre Dame/Houston ML -115, Miami’s D if horrific and they have been getting by against horrid teams, finally comes to roost here. Houston off a bye against a Cincy team that is on it’s 3rd major game in a row. Houston still has a lot to play for in the Big 12 race.

Season Record: 26-21-1, +2.9u

Good luck if you’re tailing and Geaux Tigers as always!
