TORONTO, Ont. – Woodbine Entertainment today released the official wagering menu for Turf Champions Day, taking place Saturday, September 13 at Woodbine Racetrack.
Turf Champions Day features a trio of Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series “Win and You’re In” events and is headlined by the 29th edition of the $1 million Rogers Woodbine Mile. The upcoming card of elite racing has been paired with several exciting wagering opportunities, including a Woodbine Mile Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge (BCBC) Tournament in partnership with Xpressbet.
The Turf Champions Pick 3 is a special Pick-3 sequence linking the day’s three marquee races.
- $500,000 bet365 Summer Stakes (G1) – Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series “Win and You’re In”
- $500,000 Johnnie Walker Natalma Stakes (G1) – Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series “Win and You’re In”
- $1,000,000 Rogers Woodbine Mile (G1) – Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series “Win and You’re In”
This Pick-3 will carry a $5 minimum and player-friendly 15 per cent takeout.
Also new this year is the Global Grade 1 Pick 5, linking Woodbine’s marquee races to the St. Leger Stakes (G1) and the Irish Champions Stakes (G1), in partnership with RMG & ARC.
