Caravel beats the boys in the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint (Courtney Snow/Past The Wire)

LOUISVILLE, Ky.— Qatar Racing, Marc Detampel and Madaket Stables’ Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint (GI) winner Caravel headlines a field of 12 for the 13th running of the $300,000 Unbridled Sidney presented by Sysco (Listed) for fillies and mares going 5 ½ furlongs on the Matt Winn Turf Course.
The Unbridled Sidney will go as the eighth race with a 3:03 p.m. post time.
Trained by Brad Cox, Caravel returned to the races on April 8 with a victory over males in the Shakertown (GII) at Keeneland. Tyler Gaffalione has the mount Friday and will break from post position 11.
