Olympic Gold Medallist Phil Wizard to Perform at The 165th King’s Plate

TORONTO– Fresh off his dominant performance at the Paris Olympic Games, Canadian breakdancer and newly-minted gold medallist Phil Wizard (Phil Kim) will be performing this Saturday, August 17th at the 165th King’s Plate, the first leg of the OLG Canadian Triple Crown, at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto.
It will be the 27-year-old Vancouver resident’s first public performance since becoming the first-ever gold medal winner in men’s breakdancing this past Saturday. His other titles include 2022 world champion and reigning Pan American Games champ. Phil Wizard will perform at the Hats & Horseshoes party, located outside of the Woodbine Racetrack grandstand. He will also perform in the Paris Texas Clubhouse, located in the in-field of the racetrack.
Saturday’s King’s Plate promises to be bigger and better than ever, with Juno-nominated LU KALA performing at the Hats & Horseshoes party. The party also features a live DJ, multiple big screens for viewing the horse racing action, and delicious food and beverage options available for purchase. Tickets are only $25 per person and are available now at Ticketmaster.ca.
