Apparently a lawsuit has been filed by Ryan Dickey et al against Stronach Group Services LLC, Churchill Downs Inc., The New York Racing Association, Amtote, United Tote, Racing and Gaming Services and Elite Turf Club
They say you never know what can happen in a courtroom and the filing of a lawsuit is no guarantee you ever see a Judge or Jury but it is a start. A lawsuit with the intent of fighting the CAW’s ( computer assisted wagering) infiltration of the pari mutual system has been filed by Ryan Dickey et al.

Horseplayers have been frustrated by the late odds drops, high rebates, and tote access for a long time and most of the chatter has been complaining that has fallen on deaf ears. Dave Portnoy voiced his frustration and Mike Repole supported it in recent social media posts and now things seem to have gone to a new and different level. If this progress it will be interesting how the CAW’s proceed.
