Breandán Ó hUallacháin brings an international perspective to Past the Wire, covering Irish, British, French and Australian racing across both the Flat and National Hunt codes.
His work goes beyond the result of a race. Breandán has a deep interest in racing history, breeding and bloodlines, bringing context to the horses, families and traditions behind some of the world’s most important racing. His knowledge of the European and international game gives Past the Wire a perspective that extends well beyond American racing.
From the great meetings and major races to the pedigrees and history behind them, Breandán writes for readers who want to understand not simply what happened, but why it matters.
